Let me start by saying, I never thought this day would come.
Matt and I closed on our first home back in November 2013. We still are not living in the house, but we are REALLY close at this point. Yesterday we finally were able to move in the couches, kitchen table (which we decided we are selling now anyways), coffee table and end tables, along with more miscellaneous boxes. We also focused on organizing the office a little, as my last semester of my masters program has started and I would love that space to be finished so I can go home after work and focus on my course work.
I found two table lamps that fit the end tables in the master bedroom really well. Matt changed one of the light bulbs, which is why it looks like they are different colors, but he is going to change it back tomorrow. They are the exact same lamp. All and all, the home decor is finally starting to come together. Matt was able to get the electric fire place up and running, which should help lower our fuel oil bills!! This evening after work, my friend Megan and I are going to Syracuse for some more decor and furniture shopping. If you can’t tell by now, it’s my favorite part. There is a few more pieces we are looking for, but we are in great shape! I can’t wait to do a final before and after post once everything is 100 percent complete!
Sooner than later,
