2013 at a Glace

2013 ended up being an extrodinary year for me and hopefully 2014 is full of even more accompliments! This past year I:

  1. Earned a Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Empire State College in Human Development with a concentration in Psychology
  2. Became the Secretary of Fleming Fire Department No. 1
  3. Became involved with the Cayuga County Bar Association and helped build their first ever website

    1. Cayuga Counseling Services, Inc.
    2. Fleming Fire Department No. 1
    3. Cayuga Community College Alumni Association
    4. Cayuga-Cortland Workforce Investment Board
    5. Cornell Cooperative Extension
    6. Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity
    7. Child Care Solutions
    8. Auburn Education Foundation
  5. Joined IGNITE and soon after stepped on to its Steering Committee
  6. Became a member of Cayuga County United Way’s 2013 Fundraising Campaign as a Professional Member and also joined the Funds Distribution Agency Relations Committee Member for Promoting Independence
  7. Became a State Finalist for the Miss New York USA 2014 Pageant competing as Miss Auburn
  8. Purchased my first home in Owasco, New York and began my first ever full house renovation project
  9. Had my first ever experience live on the radio (Finger Lakes Radio Group)
  10. Learned how important it is to be a positive image in my community to individuals of all ages and that one person truly can make a difference. No dream is ever too small, so never give up!
  11. I received the most beautiful gift from my boyfriend Matt, which was a gorgeous ring that he let me custom design myself
  12. I turned twenty-two!!!! I could officially listen to Taylor Swift’s song and feel as if I could connect with her
  13. And so much more….

I am so blessed to have so many friends and family who support me with all the decisions I make. Especially my boyfriend Matt, who stands by my side no matter what. I can’t wait to see what 2014 has in store for us!

Sooner than later,
